Yes, you read it right! The SSMC 2024 is on and will be running to its full potential with 3 days of Workshops, 3 Nights of Live Concerts and 3 Nights of Parties and Shows – all happening at our favourite venue, The Roundhouse
For 2024 SSMC will be including other Latin dance styles in support of Australia’s wider Latin Dance Industry.

The 2024 SSMC will be a weekend uniting Australia’s Latin dance community under one roof. With a Salsa & Mambo focus, in 2024’s edition we welcome Samba and Reggaeton, and continuing to support the Bachata community.
- 4 Workshop Rooms: Salsa, Mambo, Bachata and World (including Samba, Reggaeton, Fusion, Funk)
- 2 Party Rooms: Salsa & Mambo and Bachata

The SSMC invites all Dance Schools, Independent Artists, DJs and Promoters to be our Revenue Partners for 2024. Participating partners will receive a % share of every pass they sell.

Industry Vendors recieve 10% off booth price
We know that Covid-19 has hit most of the industry vendors hard, and for this reason, we have reduced the cost of our booths by 10%. We are working hard to support all areas of the Latin Dance industry in Australia and make the SSMC 2024 possible to everyone.
Live Bands - Concert
As requested by respondents of our satisfaction survey, and to support industry musicians, the SSMC 2024 will have 3 Nights of Live Concert – Fri, Sat AND Sun.
Venue
As requested by respondents of our satisfaction survey, we continue to run the whole event in a single world-class venue: The Roundhouse. Recently renovated and located at the heart of Sydney, it will be our dancing home for 3 day and 3 nights.
Industry Support Meetings
The SSMC organisers will be hosting industry support meetings during the weekend to discuss “How can we work together in rebuilding the Latin Dance industry in Australia?”. All participating schools, artists and industry leaders are welcome to join.
